From July 28 to August 8, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the best places to shop for great steals. Whether you need a gift, a dress, a suit, or something for your home, Nordstrom has it.
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Anniversary Sale only happens once a year. It’s unique because it doesn’t just include marked-down, past-season items. Instead, you can find great discounts on brand new items and never-before-discounted products that will jump back up to full price once the sale ends.
When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public on July 28 and goes through August 8, with early access starting earlier in the month.
How Can I Shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early?
Early access to the sale begins on July 12 for certain Nordstrom cardmembers; the date you can begin buying depends on your “Nordy Club level” which is dictated by your yearly spending amounts.
Cardmembers with “Icon” status are able to shop July 12, “Ambassadors” may shop July 14, and early access shopping for those with “Influencer” status begins July 16.
Do I have to be a Nordstrom Rewards Member to Shop?
You do not have to be a Nordstrom Rewards Member to shop the Anniversary Sale, however you’ll have to wait until the sale opens to the general public on July 28 to shop.
The good news is that it’s not too late to apply for a Nordstrom card (you need to be a cardmember to shop early). All cardmembers, regardless of spending history, start at Influencer level, allowing you to start shopping the sale on July 16—a full 12 days before the general public can start shopping.
What is Usually on Sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Anniversary Sale includes great deals on brand-new and never-before-discounted products from hundreds of well-known (and loved!) brands. The sale also includes exclusive beauty sets at major value. Also, be on the lookout for one-day-only flash sales within the Anniversary Sale.
Of course, you’ll want to consider your wedding date as you shop. “Investing in your accessories is like a great way to go,” Erlanger says. “Picking up that special pair of earrings or an amazing pair of heels might be better than buying clothes too far out in advance because oftentimes people’s bodies change. That being said, if you see a beautiful dress that you love or an outfit that you love and the price is right, just keep in mind, you can always tailor things at a later date and time.”
